Global Stamping Friends Bloghop - Festive Celebrations

It's that time again for the Global Stamping Friends bloghop - Welcome.

This hop will feature lots of festive celebration projects, so hopefully you will find something that meets your festive needs whatever they may be.

I chose to do two types of crackers, a large one to hold a gift and some smaller ones to hold sweeties or small toys perhaps.

This first cracker is simple to make and uses the Envelope Punch Board, an invaluable tool that you'll want to get if you don't have one.

These are really simple to make. It's matter of scoring, punching with the EPB and a bit of glueing and decorating as you with.

The second is based on a project by Kim Fee, a fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrator.  I loved this cracker last year and adore it this year with the Year of Cheer Designer Series Paper - it's a retiring product so get yourself some before it sells out.  I also love the Pretty Pines Thinlits, they are been around for a while but new for me and I just wish I'd gotten them sooner!

It opens up to reveal a small compartment which think would be ideal for a little piece of jewellery!  I heat embossed the sentiment with Fresh Fig and clear embossing powder - the photo doesn't do it justice,

It is simple to make and Kim has a video on her page here.

I'll post written dimensions shortly, but want you to be able to enjoy all the other amazing creations on the hop first.

Please hop over to see Anita's amazing project.
Happy Crafting

  1. Well, aren't you clever to make slide-open Christmas crackers?!? That's awesome...I LOVE packages that open without having to undo bows. I think I'm gonna have to make some of these, too! Thanks for sharing :-D
